1999 Mardi Gras "reunion"

Since it had worked out so well in 1995 Paul reserved some rooms in the Adams Mark for Mardis Gras 1999. Lots of people couldn't come after all, but a good time was had by all who could. For 2000, we'll probably choose a different hotel.

Carol and Paul dressed for radio... When Paul found out that Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know? was going to do a live broadcast during Mardi Gras from Biloxi (in honor of Biloxi's tricentennial) he had to be there. He and Carol dressed appropriately for a radio show...

(Paul bought the hat from a street vendor in 1996. When Shirley saw him walking back she started giggling and said "You look just like the Crooked Man who walked a Crooked Mile." Everybody else agreed, though, that he's really "the Cat in the Hat.")

After the show, Paul & Carol dashed to Mobile, tried to check in, and managed to get to the airport barely in time to meet Jennifer's plane. The "three musketeers" spent enough time chatting at the hotel that they had to break several laws to get to where they were supposed to be for the Mystics of Time (MOT) parade.

With work beckoning the last of the out-of-town family, we turned over one of the rooms to
